My Holiday Postcard

WALT: recount a memory from our holiday and write a short summary for a friend.

We had to write about what we did on our holiday on a postcard and write it to your friends or family. I choose to write to my cousin, Lily. We walked along 90 Mile beach for three days with massive, heavy backpacks.

Reflection: I enjoyed writing to my cousin and making my cover for the postcard.

Reflection: I tried so hard to make this as good as possible I hope you like it. Its about global warming and if you don't know what that is you will find out.

Refection: This was fun to make, but I with I had done my chart better.

 WALT: Use 2D shapes and the polyline tool to create mosaic art on Google Drawings.

Reflection: It took me a longtime to finish it but its so cool.

WALT: Read narrative texts and engage higher order thinking skills.

Reflection: It took me a long time to finish it but I think its really cool the only thing I would of changed is adding more words and tried a bit harder.

 WALT: Make connections between fractions, decimals and percentages

I made a number line. I had to get a ruler and count three spaces and then write down fractions, decimals and percentages.

Reflection: It was fun to make but I wish I did the numbers bigger to make it easier to read.

 WALT: Understand decimals to the tenths, hundredths and thousandths

Reflection: It was hard at first because it very confusing and difficult but I got help from one of my friends.

 WALT: Make inferences using the clues in the text along with your own experiences to help you figure out what is not directly said.

Refection: hard on some questions but other questions were really easy!

 WALT: Find the word 'autobiography' in the dictionary and learn it's meaning. Identify famous people who have written autobiographies. Find an autobiography in our library.

Reflection: It was hard to find all the names of the autobiography. But it was easy to do everything else.

 WALT: Create a game based on your theme that teaches others the Te Reo vocabulary

Reflection: It took me awhile to make it I had the most trouble with all the links but in the end it was easy.

Reflection: I had so much fun with google drawing a wolf. But I had trouble with taking the photo.

We wrote a letter to Jacinda Ardern and we got a letter back from her, it was very existing. then a reporter saw it on our Facebook page. That is how we made the news!
