Wow Word

This is my wow word. I enjoyed coloring in and drawing. I disliked writing the Survival because I had to rub it out alot because it was hard. 

The Wahine Disaster

WALT: Understand how natural disasters affect New Zealand. Reflection: I enjoyed organising and creating the GIF but I found it hard to publish. I learnt that there are many natural disasters that happen in New Zealand that affect a lot of people. Question: Do you know of any other ship wrecks that have happened?

Maths Week 3 - Volume

WALT: Learning to measure the volume of a shape.
Reflection: I enjoyed adding and multiplying the numbers. I disliked the formula because it was confusing.
Question: Would builders use this in their job?

Cooking - Homemade Pasta

WALT: Follow a recipe, and cook something to share on my blog.

3 cups of flour and 4 eggs, mix, roll into ball.

Put ball into fridge for 30 mins, cut into 4, roll each piece out.

Roll up into a tube, and cut into segments with a knife.

Boil a big pot of water, add fresh pasta, boil for 2 minutes.

Drain pasta, serve with butter and parmesan cheese. Yum!

Flying Citadel

WALT: Describe and create compound sentences. Reflection: I liked my paragraph but I wished I could of writed more. Question: Do you like writing stores?

Book Review

Book 1

WALT: Review a series of  books.  Review: Wings Of Fire is a really cool series the first book is really interesting and a bit scary. Its about five dragons who grow up in a cave. They are all different colors and come from different places. Their names are Star flight, Clay, Tsunami, Sunny and glory, they get stolen from their homes, they are supposed to stop the war they have mean people looking after them. They try to escape... but they end up in a worse place than before. Can they escape there.... hold as prisoners...... I think this book should be rated ✶✶✶✶✶ stars.
Book two of Wings Of Fire is even better they continue their journey to stop the war, they go find Tsunami's family in the Kingdom Of Sea but they don't know who might turn up... I would rate this book ✶✶✶✶ and a half stars.

Book 2

These are really good books if you like fantasy or scary books and even if you don't like those sort of books I think you would still like                                                      it.

Maths Week 2

WALT: Measurement and Geometry. Reflection: I enjoyed adding and taking the minutes away. I found it hard to minus the time and go backwards. Question: Do you like to do Measurement?

WALT: Write and describe the word of the week.  Reflection: I 100% loved this activity it was so fun! my favorite part was definitely the border💜💙 I wish I had done a better job on my writing because its hard to read .   Question: Do you know the difference between a Pandemic and a Epidemic?

My Dream House

WALT: Design an ideal house that I would like to live in during isolation. Reflection: i enjoyed drawing my dream house, it was fun! also drawing the birds eye view was interesting. I wish i didn't have to do the measurements it was confusing. Question: have you ever done this?❤️

WALT: Write onomatopoeia to portray Orange as an emotion. Reflection: I liked making my animation. I had difficulty with finding Tall Tweets so that my animation could become a GIF. Question: Have you ever made a GIF using oranges the main colour?

MY MATHS

WALT: decimal fractions and understand place value. INTRO: really wasn't had to figure out my change because I've already spent it all. we had $100 to spend and I spent $99 at Rebel Sports. REFECTION: was easy to figure out my change. difficulty with choosing watch stuff I could buy!!!!!  Question:  Do you like to shop at Rebel Sports?
 

beach day!

INTRO: The waves were as big and as high as tsunamis in the middle of the ocean. The sun was as bright as a lava lamp in complete darkness. The water was like glaciers and ice cubes surrounding me. Me and my friends Leah, Paige, Ratapu and Mil'e, covered me in sand. When the tide was coming in,I felt the sand rush up onto my face! The sand was like a nest of feathers. WALT: put similes into a sentence and expand them. Reflection: enjoyed choosing photos and writing my intro. difficulty with putting my pictures onto my blog. Question: has your school ever had a beach day?

WALT: Avatar that represents myself. Reflection: It was really fun choosing my clothes and what colour my hair colour should be. I had difficulty putting my avatar on to my Google drawings.
